Originally from Southwest Minnesota, Officer Garbe chose to pursue a career in law enforcement at the age of 23. He relocated his family to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 2021 to attend classes at Central Lakes College, where in the fall 2022, he received his AAS Degree in Natural Resource Law Enforcement. Officer Garbe began his law enforcement career with the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, first as a Recreational Officer and then as a full time Correctional Officer. Officer Garbe joined the Breezy Point Police Department in March of 2024.
