Paramedic Officer Daniel Sathre began his law enforcement career in 1999 working for the Lake Shore and Silver Bay Police Departments before joining the Breezy Point Police Department in 2002. Sathre obtained Paramedic certification in 2003 becoming the department’s first Paramedic Police Officer. He spent five years in Breezy Point receiving the Star of Life award from the Minnesota State Ambulance Association in 2006 for the lives he helped save. Sathre left to be a Deputy Sheriff for Lake County in 2007 and returned to Breezy Point in 2019.
